AMENDMENT No. 1

TO BIDDERS: All Bidders DATE: August 13, 2024

BID NO.: IW192308

OPENING DATE: August 27, 2024 3:00 PM

Question and Answer for the TDCJ – Buffalo Ranch Unit.

Q. I am just double checking the quantity and how this will need to be delivered.

There are 3-line items for the same product, going to the same place.

You are currently asking for a total of 1,200 bags of TAMU 411 Oats, 600+300+300=1,200. If we get the bid, it would be better for us to make 2 deliveries, 600 bags each time if we do get the bid.

A. The quantity is correct. It is permissible to deliver in fewer truckloads as long as the packaging and palletization is as specified.

Q. It also appears that the TAMU 411 Oats will not be available this year, would you be open to another variety of improved oat?

A. Please refer to terms and conditions section 2.1 for substitutes.
