About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) on behalf of the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) for the WaitWell Enterprise Platform. The Addendum includes a Question and Answer (Q&A) document that addresses vendor inquiries related to the IFB requirements. The IFB seeks responses from potential vendors to provide the WaitWell Enterprise Platform as part of the DIR's State Term Contract (STS) IT Commodities program. The IFB is being advertised under Government Code Section 2155.067, which means only responses that conform exactly to the specified requirements, including the brand name and model number, will be considered for award. The IFB requires a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) for bids over $100,000.

The Q&A document clarifies that the IFB is exclusively for the WaitWell Enterprise Platform, and that only cloud computing services, as defined by the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP), are required to be TX-RAMP certified. The Q&A also explains that the Texas Veterans Commission requested this specific product. No additional pricing, set-aside, or funding details are provided in the Addendum.
