About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) of Texas regarding their Child Support Division's (CSD) need for document imaging services. The OAG is seeking information from vendors who can provide services to convert incoming case-related paper mail documents into digital images. The OAG is interested in understanding vendors' capabilities, tools, technologies, and solutions that address topics such as turnaround time, document formats, indexing, and document retrieval. The OAG is open to learning about cost-effective solutions that could reduce transportation, logistics, cataloging, and inventory expenses.

The OAG currently has a contract in place for document imaging services and will be re-procuring these services in the future. The OAG is interested in understanding industry standards, best practices, cost structures, and pricing methodologies, as well as any comprehensive, integrated solutions that address related issues. The OAG has specified that documents must be scanned in Texas and that the conversion must be completed by the end of the next business day, including sending the images to the OAG and possibly other locations.
