This document contains the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents for Project No. MR11254, which is a project to replace a trail bridge at the Lake Mineral Wells State Park in Texas. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking sealed bids from contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, material, and incidentals required to demolish the existing trail bridge and replace it with a new bridge. The Engineer's Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $130,000.00 to $143,150.00. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM on July 31, 2024, and a virtual public bid opening will be conducted one hour after the submission deadline. Attendance at a mandatory virtual pre-bid conference on July 8, 2024, and a mandatory pre-bid site visit on July 8, 9, or 10, 2024, is required for eligibility. The project is to be completed within 270 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
This project does not have any Federal Aid funding. Bidders must submit their bids through the eBuilder Bid Portal and include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid. TPWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process.
