About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Information (RFI) for a Student Information System (SIS) issued by Tarleton, a public higher education institution in Texas. The addendum provides responses to questions received regarding the current systems and environment, including the use of Touchnet for payment processing, Banner for financial aid, and StarRez for housing. Tarleton is seeking to understand the market and capabilities of SIS solutions that can integrate with their existing Workday and FAMIS systems, with a focus on cost management, operational efficiency, and support. The RFI is not a purchasing proposal, and Tarleton is interested in evaluating vendors' experience, implementation approaches, timelines, and cost estimates for budgeting purposes.

The addendum also clarifies that Tarleton is seeking responses from software providers, not service providers. Tarleton currently utilizes state and DIR contracts and is interested in identifying any public higher education institutions in Texas that are operating the proposed SIS solutions, as there are specific reporting requirements for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).
