About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) for Inventory Count Services. MD Anderson is seeking a provider that can perform inventory counts at different times, including point-in-time for year-end, mid-year, and counts for inventory system implementations. The service is required across various supply areas, including par supply rooms, inventory storerooms, procedural pods, and consignment products. Vendors must meet several requirements, including providing an electronic count file that can be imported into the inventory management system, identifying expired products, and reporting inventory value by area. MD Anderson may request product demonstrations and site visits as part of the evaluation process. The selected vendor(s) must demonstrate financial stability, provide error-free and high-quality services, and have qualified and experienced resources available throughout the engagement.
The RFP does not provide specific pricing terms or set-asides. However, it notes that Texas vendor registration is required, and any cloud-based software solution provider will need to be TX Ramp certified. The contract will be awarded based on the responses received and the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP.
