About this file

This document is an exhibit containing technical specifications for Red Dot Rifle Optics sought by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The specifications outline the required construction, color, mounting compatibility, reticle features, power supply, size, and weight for the optics. The optics must be compatible with an AR-style upper receiver, such as the Daniel Defense DDM4V7, and meet specific requirements for the reticle, brightness adjustability, night vision compatibility, and precision aiming. Additionally, the optics must be waterproof, fog proof, and have unlimited eye relief.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking vendors to participate in the testing of these Red Dot Rifle Optics with mounting systems for a picatinny rail system. No additional details are provided regarding the solicitation process, response deadlines, evaluation criteria, or contract term.
