The objective of the Texas Workers’ Compensation Conference is to offer courses to help newcomers to the Texas Workers’ Compensation system understand the fundamental processes and safety issues, while various higher-level courses will provide seasoned system participants with updates and practical application of the TWC system requirements.

Historically, the Texas Workers’ Compensation Conference is held annually in Texas, over a 3 ½ day period and attracts up to a minimum of 600 people. The dates of the conference are determined by the Commissioner of Workers’ Compensation. In 2024, the conference will be held virtually, over a 2-day period and will take place October 22-23.

In addition, TDI will offer continuing education credits for webinars offered throughout the year and will need a vendor to manage continuing education credit applications fees and provide ongoing customer support to attendees for issues with continuing education credits, and other webinar related items.
