Type A consists of three clamshell-style enclosed DPM laser marking workstations for delivery to Tinker AFB, featuring minimum 20 W diode-pumped fiber lasers with MOPA/Q-switched architecture, circular marking fields of at least 4–5 inches, and Class 1 safety enclosures. Type B comprises two flatbed CO₂ laser engraving/cutting systems for Robins AFB with minimum 30–40 W power, 24 x 12 inch engraving areas, support for diverse materials, and compatibility with thermal transfer label printers (Brady class). Type C includes eight roll-fed IUID label laser marking systems for Hill AFB using minimum 20 W air-cooled pulsed fiber lasers with integrated fume extraction and Traceable-IT software supporting serialization and variable data.
All equipment must be new, delivered in manufacturer packaging, and support Data Matrix ECC200 encoding with verification to ISO/IEC 15415 standards. Each system shall include HEPA filtration fume extraction, Windows 11 control PCs with network capability for Air Force NIPRNet, integrated verification stations, and comprehensive documentation. Delivery and installation must be completed within 30 calendar days of contract award to the designated installations. Contractor responsibilities include one-on-site training day (minimum two days, six hours per day) covering safe operation, template setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance; acceptance testing limited to one business day per system; and a one-year warranty covering parts and labor plus one-year software support. Contractors must ensure software successfully gains approval on the Air Force Evaluated Product List (EPL) within 30 days of deficiency notification, comply with installation-specific environmental and safety requirements at Tinker AFB, Hill AFB, and Robins AFB, and provide a compliance matrix, manufacturer datasheets, facility requirements, and cyber/security documentation in their proposal.
