Question: Provide and Install six (6) new LED surface mounted light fixture What is the Voltage at the light fixtures? Existing fixture is 250W, the new LED fixture must be equivalent with 250W MH?
Answer: 120/208 is the building voltage. Voltage at the light fixtures vary. Newer fixtures installed are multi-volt Contractor shall verify voltage requirements prior to ordering.
Question: Provide and Install ten (10) new bracket mounted LED flood light fixtures at locations labeled #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, and #11 What is the Voltage at all the light fixtures? Existing light fixture Wattage is as follow:
#2, #5, and #11 has 400W #3, and #6 has 300W #4 has 750W (per drawing requirement we have listed with 1,000W). We will provide the quote for 750W or 1,000W?
Question: We will provide the same Wattage for all fixtures or will be each fixture separate, and only the design to be bracket mount will be different?
Answer: Voltage-120/208 is the building voltage. Voltage requirements at the light fixtures vary. Contractor shall verify voltage requirements prior to ordering. Existing fixture #4 is 750w HYDREL: 7200 750M TB WFL KM EWM24 SCWA LPIH DNA USPOM. Replace with LED light output equivalent to existing 750w fixtures while maximizing reduced energy consumption.
Answer: Provide equivalent light output for each fixture as the existing wattage provides except under the primary and secondary canopies where the lighting level shall meet the 50fc requirements as per the specification.
Question: Provide and Install twelve (12) new LED light fixtures in the secondary inspection area labeled #9, and #10.
Question: #9, and #10 are two different lights fixtures. Which one we should provide, bracket or wall mounted?
Answer: Provide adjustable bracket mounted fixtures.
Question: Contractor shall provide and Install three (3) new LED surface mounted...

Answer: See revised specification section 1.3
Question: The scope of work call for a (-40F to 122F) LED fixture operating temperature. Can this be revised to a (-40F to 104F) LED fixture operating temperature?
Answer: 104F is acceptable
Question: Scope of work does not call out baseline fixture number to reference in section 4. Please clarify what type of existing fixture is on site.
Answer: See revised scope of work
Question: Is 5100k okay for the type #9 250w flood. RAB only makes the FXLED78T in 5100K to meet efficiencies and ensure lumen output.
Answer: Yes
Question: In a one for one replacement under the canopy area it will be hard to reach the 50FC call out. Would you like to add more fixtures here to meet 50FC? Or, are you okay with having around 40-50 FC under the canopy areas for a one for one replacement?
Answer: Contractor shall provide all fixtures required to meet the 50 FC requirements and shall provide additional conduit and wiring if additional fixtures are required.
Question: See attached RAB rail are you okay with this as a replacement or would you like this other attached fixture instead for the inspection canopy?
Answer: No attachment received to view.
Question: Under salient characteristics the bid docs call out needing a replaceable array assembly. RAB will replace the driver if it fails and will replace the fixture if it is the array. This is because the fixtures are sealed from the factory and opening them can void UL and warranties in some instances.
Answer: Replaceable arrays are preferred but not required
Question: Provide and Install six (6) new LED surface mounted light fixture. Question:
What is the Voltage at the light fixtures? Existing fixture is 250W, the new LED fixture must to be equivalent with 250W MH?
Answer: New fixtures must have light output equal to or exceeding the current 250w fixture and meet the 50FC requirements. Building voltage is 120/208.
Contractor to verify prior to ordering fixtures.
Question: Provide and Install ten (10) new bracket mounted LED flood light fixtures at locations labeled #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, and #11. What is the Voltage at all the light fixtures? Existing light fixture Wattage is as follow:

We will provide the same Wattage for all fixtures or will be each fixture separate, and only the design to be bracket mount will be different?
Provide and Install twelve (12) new LED light fixtures in the secondary inspection area labeled #9, and #10.
Answer: 120/208 depending on the fixture. LED fixtures are typically multi-volt.
Each light fixture will be separate and output shall meet or exceed the existing light fixture output while reducing energy as per the specification. Provide quote for 750W equivalent for #4 fixture. Primary and secondary canopy areas shall meet the 50 FC requirement
Question: #9, and #10 are two different lights fixtures. Which one we should provide, bracket or wall mounted?
Answer: Bracket mounted
Question: Contractor shall provide and Install three (3) new LED surface mounted...
What type of fixture will be? (surface mount or bracket mounted) Voltage and Wattage for new fixtures?
Answer: See revised scope of work 1.3.B.4, Surface mounted 120V Equivalent to 100w incandescent
CLIN 002-Work Specifications - Eastport Land Port of Entry CLIN 002B Question: 1. Provide and Install eight (8) new surface mounted LED light fixtures at location #1, #2, #3, and #8 shown on Drawing E101
Question: Drawing E101 is for Porthill Land or Eastport?
If is for Eastport what is the voltage feeders at this location? The wattage will be from fixtures to equivalent LED's?
Answer: Drawing for Eastport is E102. 120/208 Contractor to verify all voltage and wattage prior to ordering fixtures. Light output of new fixtures shall meet or exceed existing fixtures design specification while maximizing energy reduction.
Answer: Light output shall match existing wattage/fixture design with equivalent LED’s except under the primary canopy (fixtures #1 & #2 which require 50fc in this area as per the specification)
Question: Provide and Install five (5) new fixtures... (labelled #7) Question: We shall read the drawing E101 or E102?

General Questions:
6. Is there emergency ballast included in the scope of work or do you have an emergency back up generator? This will be significant if we change out a fixture that has an emergency ballast without one. Typically drawing sheets will show this designation with a different code on the fixture, but your drawing sheets were not taken from true electrical drawings. Without this it would be difficult to tell even on a site walk. If your engineer can count or audit which fixtures have them and we can quote the number of emergency ballasts needed for each fixture type per building. Or in some cases the customers realize it is something they can buy and install after the fact. Your engineer would know the best way to go. Without this information all fixtures will be quoted without any emergency backup ballast. If you could get electrical drawings or as-builts in case of changes to upload this would help immensely.
Answer: All fixtures are on generator with no emergency ballasts.
7. Is there a recycling bin provided? Or do we need to obtain our own. We can work with an outside recycling company that many drop off the bins and pickup. And in most cases customers ask for proof of the materials being recycled.
Answer: Contractor is responsible for all recycling and providing documentation to GSA of the total weight recycled.
8. Is there any known asbestos or other safety issues on site we need to be aware of?
Answer: There are no know issues at these locations
Is a bid bond required? No a bid bond is not required.
Will there be a performance and payment bond? No
Will the contract performance time change now that the bid is closing later? The contract performance time will be adjusted but the performance period for this project shall remain 150 calendar days from award of contract to Substantial Completion.
