About this file
This document is an Emergency Purchase Statement from the State of Illinois Chief Procurement Office. It details an emergency contract extension for the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Parole Division Communications and Control Center services provided by Protocol Criminal Justice, Inc.
The vendor will continue to provide a central computer system to receive, store, and disseminate data from monitoring equipment for committed felons and parolees under IDOC supervision. The original contract was to expire on March 29, 2021, and the emergency extension will be from March 30, 2021 to June 30, 2022 at an estimated cost of $9,000,000. IDOC plans to conduct a competitive solicitation through a Request for Proposal for a new contract, and requires the extension to ensure a smooth transition of data to the new vendor.
