Questions Answers We would like to know if this is a brand new contract or if there is (was) an incumbnent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current/previous contract number?
New Requirement
I was unable to access the Visitor Center information as the server cannot be found for the link provided in the attachment. Is there another link you can provide?
Please see Section 2.2 of the PWS.
Currently we are to price a base and 31 options. How many mobilizations should we provide, or how many rooms could we have at once?
See pargraph 4.0 of the PWS.
Do bathrooms, office hallways, locker rooms, and showers also require epoxy rated for aggressive chemical protection?
Or is chemical protection only necessary in the other operational areas?
See pargraph 4.1 of the PWS.
Please define the unit of measure "CI" used for expansion joints.
See pargraph 4.1 Table 2 of the PWS.
The CTF has locations that are currently ceramic tile. Is it the intent to go over the tile or to remove the tile and install the epoxy?
See pargraph 4.3 of the PWS.
Should Bathroom and shower areas include some sort of texture so that it is not a slip hazard?See pargraph 4.3 of the PWS.
I see expansion joint info under "additional details". Under CTF, I did not notice any expansion joints in the tile rooms (locker rooms, hallway, and bathrooms). Under Mechanical Room, it says 3,000CI of material. That is a large amount of expansion joints, when I did not see any. Are these expansion joints listed for CTF a mistake?
See pargraph 4.3 of the PWS.
Please confirm the epoxy on the walls is only related to areas that already have a cove base. Those areas that do not have cove base will not receive a 'wall' coating.
See pargraph 4.4 of the PWS.
Are there any restrictions in place that would disallow someone from getting access to the Proving Grounds to perform work in this building? We need to make sure that anyone we contract with to perform work on the project will be allowed on base. The reason we ask is we have an epoxy installer that has a felony on his record. He has done his time and paid his debt to society. He is now a hard working upstanding citizen, but he does get denied access on some military installations.
Please see Section 5.3 of the PWS.
