About this file
This document is a Diesel Fuel Specification (SFD) for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy, which outlines the product requirements for diesel fuel to be delivered to locations in Kosovo, Afghanistan, and other regions. The specification requires the diesel fuel to conform to the latest revision of the EN 590 commercial specification, with additional requirements for Kosovo such as a maximum haze rating and sediment/water content limits. The document also includes specific requirements for diesel fuel to be delivered to Afghanistan, which must meet the Grade E, -15°C maximum cold filter plugging point criteria.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for 40,000 gallons of diesel fuel (SFD) to be delivered to Swietoszow, Poland on 23 July and 25 July 2024. The RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures with FAR Part 12 for commercial items. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, and the delivery terms, access requirements, and pricing details are provided.
