About this file
This is an instruction document from the City of Detroit for completing an Emergency Professional Rate Schedule related to demolition and site restoration services. Respondents are required to complete business and contact information and submit unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated trucking, and asbestos-containing material and construction/demolition material disposal) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells in the rate schedule must be completed, and respondents should reference the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on service types.
Respondents must provide unit rates as a single mean average value per unit of measure and may not submit rates as ranges, include qualifying notes, propose alternate unit types, or leave any rate fields blank. The City of Detroit reserves the right to deem rate schedules with these characteristics as incomplete or non-responsive. Additionally, the City retains the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours of such a request. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the proposed rates by the City of Detroit.
