About this file
This document is an Emergency Purchase Statement issued by the Illinois Central Management Services agency for water clean-up services at a state facility in Du Quoin, Illinois. The incident occurred on January 25, 2023 when a Halon gas leak caused the fire suppression system to activate and soak the Main Entry, Dispatch area, Kitchen, Entry way, Communication Room and Bathroom. R & L Restoration LLC, d/b/a Servpro, was selected as the vendor to provide all labor and materials for the water clean-up, with an expected start date of January 25, 2023 and an estimated end date of April 24, 2023 at a cost of $15,000. The agency utilized best efforts to include contractors certified under the Business Enterprise Program, but found only two vendors located far from the site that were registered under the applicable NIGP code. The emergency procurement is being funded through state appropriated funds.
