About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) in Colorado for the Missionary Tower Replacement project. The solicitation (IFB#1 EGBA 2018000) is restricted to three pre-qualified tower vendors selected from a prior Request for Proposals (RFP 2018000010). A mandatory pre-bid conference was held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. The project involves completion of construction work as detailed in the Pueblo CSP Tower Construction Documents. Bids must be submitted in sealed packages containing one original, two hard copies, and one digital copy on a USB thumb drive to the OIT Procurement and Vendor Services office at 601 East 18th Avenue, Suite 150, Denver, CO 80203 by the deadline posted on ColoradoVSS website. The State intends to award one contract for a maximum term of five years in one-year increments at the State's discretion, commencing on the date the first order is placed, with the State retaining the right to cancel agreements.
Bidding is limited to pre-qualified vendors only, making this a restricted competition. The lowest responsive and responsible bid will receive the award. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Upon award, the successful vendor must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds, insurance certificates meeting specified minimum coverage requirements (including general liability of $2,000,000 aggregate, workers' compensation, and umbrella liability of $5,000,000), and an affidavit regarding unauthorized immigrants within ten days of notice of award. Pricing must be quoted F.O.B. Destination with all applicable taxes included. Vendors must comply with the 80% Colorado labor requirement for public works projects, and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification documentation must be submitted if applicable. Payments are due 45 days following receipt of proper invoice. The awarded vendor must maintain insurance coverage for three years after project completion.
