EEOC Vendors Notice of Fees

This is a notification document issued by the City of New Haven Commission on Equal Opportunities, establishing mandatory fee requirements for contractors and subcontractors working on City projects. The document outlines a tiered fee structure applicable to all developers, prime contractors, subcontractors, and tier-subs beginning July 1, 2024. These EEOC package submissions are required by law before any work can be conducted on projects within New Haven. The fees range from $100 for contracts valued between $1 and $10,000 to $4,000 for contracts exceeding $10,000,001. All successful bidders and their associated contractors must attend a mandatory pre-award conference following submission of their employment information (EEOC packet) and prior to contract award. The fees are non-refundable and must be paid within seven business days of the scheduled pre-award meeting through check payment (business, cashier, or personal checks only) made to the City of New Haven Treasurer's Office and mailed to the Commission on Equal Opportunities at 200 Orange Street, 2nd floor, room 203, New Haven, CT 06510.

The fee structure is non-negotiable and determined by the City of New Haven, with oversight provided jointly by the City Treasurer's Office, the Department of Finance accounting division, and the Office of Management and Budget. The Commission on Equal Opportunities emphasizes the importance of reviewing the updated fee schedule in detail, preparing necessary documentation in advance, and submitting the EEOC package promptly to ensure smooth contractor operations. Contractors seeking clarification or additional information regarding the EEOC fee structure may contact the Commission's office at 203-946-6112. The document is signed by Maurice Ramos, Contract Compliance Director, and copied to relevant City officials including the Executive Director, Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, CEO Inspector, and Administrative Assistant.
