EEOC RESPONSE TO AN ADDITIONALQUESTION AND ANSWER

Additional Question (1):

Question: Can you tell me a little more about the total number of guest rooms this group “may” utilize. I see you are asking for 10 rooms / night for staff and presenters but I’m curious if out of the 200 attendees, how many are coming in from out of town that will require overnight accommodations.

It is beneficial for the government to utilize more guest rooms because the more guest rooms blocked at the hotel, the lower the cost for meeting room rental etc.

Can you let me know if you may need more than 10 rooms per night?

EEOC RESPONSE: No, as stated in the combined synopsis solicitation (RFQ No. EEC45016Q0008), EEOC is seeking up to 10 rooms at the federal room rate for staff and presenters only. Accommodations for attendees are not part of the above solicitation requirements and blocks of rooms for them are not required to be considered. The expectation as based on past events, however, is that several attendees from out of town will be staying at the facility based on its proximity to other major urban areas.

The closing date and time for receipt of responses (quotations) remain at Thursday, March 3, 2016 @ 12:00 Noon (Washington, DC local time). As stated in the solicitation, responses (quotations) must be submitted via email to the Caroline A. Fowler, Contracting Officer at: caroline.fowler@eeoc.gov, with a cc to the Gregory Browne Alternate Contracting Officer at: gregory.browne@eeoc.gov, prior to the above closing date and time.

NO OTHER CHANGES.
