Questions/Answers regarding RFP # ED-IES-12-R-0078 that were due by 1pm, July 26, 2012

1. Page 58 of the solicitation states that “Offerors should also prepare a budget for the 6 month option to extend services (FAR Clause 52.215-8) and for the option to extend the term of the contract for an additional 60 months (FAR Clause 52.217-9).” Please confirm that offerors are to submit detailed cost/price budgets for a base 5-year period plus a 6-month option to extend services plus an option to extend the contract 60 months. If so, what scope of work and/or level of effort should offerors assume for the 60-month option to extend the contract?

Yes, please submit 3 separate budgets as noted above. In budgeting for an optional 60-month extension, offerors should assume a scope of work consistent with the core scope of work.
