East John Bethea Timber Sale 2025-2026 Area 2

This is a project map document from the Florida Forest Service for the East John Bethea Timber Sale 2025-2026, specifically depicting Area 2. The timber sale encompasses 95 acres located within John M. Bethea State Forest. The map identifies the timber sale area through crosshatch pattern boundaries and displays the surrounding state forest boundary, forest roads, and state/county roads providing access to the timber harvesting area. Key access routes include State Highway 2 (SR 2), County Road 127 (CR 127), Road 21, Road 21A, Henry Burnseed County Moccasin Creek Circle, and Banyan Road. The map was created by Garrett Henderson in January 2025 and includes a scale bar indicating distances in miles and a directional north arrow for geographic orientation.

The document provides a spatial reference tool for bidders, contractors, and forest service personnel to identify the exact location and boundaries of the timber sale area. The map includes a disclaimer noting that it is a product of the Florida Forest Service and that while efforts were made to ensure data quality, no warranties are provided for data therein. The crosshatched areas shown throughout the mapped region indicate the non-contiguous nature of the timber sale parcels within the designated 95-acre area, allowing potential bidders to understand access points and operational logistics prior to submission of bids.
