About this file

The document is an Affidavit required for a Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contract (GESPC) opportunity issued by the Board of Regents of The University System of Georgia on behalf of the University of Georgia. The GESPC seeks qualified Energy Services Companies (ESCOs) to conduct an investment grade audit and identify, engineer, design, install, maintain, and provide financing options for approved energy conservation measures at various University of Georgia facilities. The goal is to improve the designated facilities through guaranteed energy, operational, maintenance and capital cost avoidance savings, as well as new revenue sources. The contract will be awarded to the selected ESCO firm.

The ESCO must provide evidence of registration and authorization to use the federal E-Verify program, and agree to continue using it throughout the contract period. The ESCO must also require its subcontractors to provide similar affidavits. The GESPC opportunity covers facilities located in Clarke County and the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government (balance) jurisdiction in Georgia.
