A1: Revise to read: Not Used.

Q2: Work Item No. 118, Offload of Liquids and Storage. Please state approximately how much fuel oil will be stored while in the dry dock?

A2: Para 4.1.1.1, revised to read: Provide a clean storage facility with a capacity of approximately 10,000 gallons of fuel oil

Q3: Work Item No. 208, Tank Cleaning and Inspections. As to better estimate the scope of cleaning needed, verify if ballast tanks per para 3.11, have the expectation to free of heavy mud or sediment buildup, due to periodic ballast water exchanges.

A3: Para(s) 1.1 & 5.1.4 contain wording for a general scope of cleaning. The general expectation should be that the ballast tank(s) do not normally have a buildup of lake mud or sediment, due to the vessel’s moderate draft in relation to the lake floor. Therefore, any buildup of mud or sediment would be considered an anomaly.

Q4: Work Item No. 220, Rescue Boat Fall Replacement. Although not required by class, does ABS still have to witness the operational test of the rescue boat davit?

A4: Para 4.1: Confirmed, Contractor shall arrange for ABS to witness load test of the Rescue Boat Davit
