(q) If previously unknown cultural resources are located during construction, halt the project in the discovery area until cultural resource staff determines the significance of the finding.

Mitigation standards will be established by others to limit any damage to the cultural information present at the sites.

107.12 Remedial Action (Added Subsection).

Upon receipt of an allegation of non-compliance with traffic laws, public courtesy, or specific requirements of Section 107, the Contractor shall provide the alleged violators name, contact information, company name, and company contact information to the CO within 24 hours.

Should the CO determine that the incident documentation likely substantiates non-compliance, the CO may require the Contractor to prohibit the individual from continued performance of the work activity within the Park boundary (e.g., prohibiting the individual from driving within the park boundary due to non-compliance with speed limits).

107.13 Contractor Housing. (Added Subsection).

Government facilities are not available for use, including but not limited to laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, communication services, and the camp recreation hall.

Establishment of a construction camp/housing facility will be permitted in the park at the Toklat Road Camp (MP 53.38) according to the following restrictions. Submit the exact number of housing units, occupancy, and configuration for approval by the CO at the preconstruction conference.

(a) Toklat Road Camp. Up to eight Recreational Vehicle (RV) sites at the Toklat Road Camp area may be used as sites for Contractor’s office trailer, and Contractor housing/mess/shower trailer(s). Additionally, four dry camp sites without hookups are available. Water, sewer, trash pickup, and limited electrical power will be available seasonally to the 8 RV sites as follows:

(1) Potable water, sewer and household trash pickup service at Toklat Road Camp will be available mid-May through mid-September during the 2013 construction season. Exact dates are subject to adjustment pending weather conditions, access conditions, and operational requirements as determined solely by the Park. Pay the NPS a fee of $750.00 per week for up to 12 sites for use of their potable water, sewer, and household trash pickup service. Pay the fee beginning when the sites are occupied, continuing until they are unoccupied or services cease. Prior to mid-May and after mid-September, all potable water, sewer, and household trash pickup services will be Contractor furnished.

(2) Power service at Toklat Road Camp is limited in availability, quantity and quality. Power service begins as early as May 15, 2013 and ends as late as September 20, 2013. Dates are subject to adjustment pending weather conditions, access conditions, and operational requirements as determined solely by the Park. The Government will measure the Contractor’s electricity usage. The Government will provide up to four kilowatts of electricity per day for the construction season. The Contractor is required to provide his/her own electrical generator and is required to use it for additional electrical needs. A transfer switch isolating the RV loop will be provided by the Park. NPS is not responsible for damage resulting from power quality from NPS sources. The Contractor provided generator must be a fully case enclosed generator with a maximum noise level of 63db. Multiple generators are not permitted.
