Q&A

1. Who was the contractor that remodeled the 2nd floor restroom?

Answer: Lee & Rua Company of Gresham Oregon

2. Some of the vent piping does not look like the proper size. They are

2” pipes but for plumbing they should be 3”?

Answer: Yes we realize this. The building is very old and we are going to go with what we have to keep from having to run new penetrations through the second floor and the roof.

3. Is the any asbestos in the piping?

Answer: No we had everything tested last year and any asbestos removed.

4. In the attachment showing the concrete staining, is this an area in the building we can look at?

Answer: No, this is just an example from the internet of colors and look to a finished example.

5. Will there be a lot of work after hours?

Answer: No, there are only restrictions on some high noise work that is indicated in the solicitation.

6. Will we have to bring in everything from the front doorway?

Answer: No, there will be some opportunity to bring things through a side door close to the restrooms and a staging area in the back of the building.
