AMENDMENT 001 Revised quantity for 20420-0000 Embankment Construction for Schedule A.
NOTES:
1. BCM = Bank Cubic Meter = One cubic meter of material as it lies in natural bank state.
2. CCM = Compacted Cubic Meter = One cubic meter of material after it has been compacted to specification density.
3. The quantities shown herein are approximations. Payment will be made for the actual quantities of work performed and accepted.
4. The average shrink/swell factor shown is computed by taking an average of values over the specified station range. Recommended shrink/swell factors are used in the calculations. See Geotech Report for recommended shrink/swell values.
5. Subexcavation areas will be replaced with Granular Backfill or Special Rock Embankment. See Typical Section Details for station ranges.
6. Quantities calculated are imported materials.
7. Dispose of subexcavation material and unsuitable material in the roadway obliteration area as needed to achieve the required contours.
8. Movement of conserved 150 millimeter minus granular material from cuts to be placed in the top 300 millimeters of embankment is not reflected in the mass ordinate.
