About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for maintenance and repair services of a driver simulator trainer at Eielson Air Force Base (EAFB) in Alaska, dated February 2026. FAAC Incorporated will provide a service technician from Ann Arbor, Michigan to conduct a three-day on-site visit to troubleshoot and repair a video display failure on an IG computer within the simulator system. The primary scope includes diagnosing the root cause of the video failure, performing all necessary repairs to restore video functionality, and providing detailed quotes to the Contracting Officer and COR for any replacement parts or labor requirements outside the initial service call scope. The contractor must not proceed with work beyond the SOW without formal written direction from the Contracting Officer.

The secondary scope requires the contractor to perform FAAC's standard preventative maintenance checklist, including cleaning of computer filters, inspection of connections, and software/firmware updates as recommended by the original equipment manufacturer. Final acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of functional tests demonstrating that the previously non-functional IG computer displays video correctly and integrates with the simulator, the simulator boots up and runs a complete 15-minute driving scenario without errors, and all primary operator controls are responsive and functional. The contractor must comply with installation access control requirements, base safety and fire prevention regulations, hazardous materials procedures, and must protect government property and personnel. Work shall not be performed on federally recognized holidays occurring during the normal workweek. The Government POC will sign the contractor's final service report on-site to document written acceptance.
