About this file

This is a detailed engineering drawing showing specifications for rotor cooling fin assemblies, including top and bottom cooling fins, blade components, and locking tabs. The drawing provides precise measurements and specifications for fabricating MU 12 rotor cooling fins for The Dalles Dam.

The drawing includes multiple views and detailed dimensions for each component, with scales of 1/4 and 1/2 indicated. Key specifications include material requirements for ASL plate 3/16" thickness and notes about bending steel with 1" inside radius. The drawing shows both top and bottom cooling fin assemblies with 42° bend angles, #11 (.191) hole specifications, and detailed measurements for positioning of components. The parts list indicates quantities needed for assemblies including fins, blades, locking tabs, rivets, and washers. Notes specify that the material must be microfibrax D or equivalent non-woven glass fabric combined with elastomer (Mil-C-24769/1, Type GME), highlighting the specialized nature of the components.
