About this file
This document provides specifications for locally fabricating skid boards and related details. The drawing specifies using AC grade plywood to construct 48 by 48 inch skid boards with four 3-inch holes drilled on each side in the configuration shown. Eight lengths of 3/8-inch tubular nylon webbing should be cut and routed through the holes in a figure-eight pattern to reinforce the skid boards for transporting single A-22 loads. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice from the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command seeking potential sources for skid boards under blanket purchase agreement LRAFB_BPA_Sources_Sought.
