About this file

This is a product specification and ordering document for the Dräger Aerotest® Navy, a breathing air quality monitoring system designed specifically for U.S. Navy applications.

The Dräger Aerotest® Navy is a portable testing system used to monitor the purity of breathing air in high-pressure applications up to 300 bar maximum pressure. The system detects and measures carbon monoxide (5–150 ppm), carbon dioxide (100–3,000 ppm), water vapor (0.1–1 mg/m³), oil (5 mg/m³), and oxygen content (5–23% volume). The complete system includes a transport case, pressure reducer, measuring device, gas detection pump accuro, Dräger-Tubes® for various contaminants, adapters for 200/300 bar connections (G5/8, CGA 347, .825-14 NGO-RH-EXT), stopwatch, tube opener, and instructions for use. The device operates independently of power supplies, requires minimum 10 bar operating pressure, and functions at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C at 1,013 mbar. The transport case measures 390 x 315 x 140 mm and weighs approximately 4.2 kg. Complete system ordering information is available under order number 6525960. Individual Dräger-Tubes® replacement packs are available for each contaminant type, with order numbers provided for carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, water vapor, oil, and oxygen detection tubes. An alternative configuration without tubes and detector pump is available under order number 6525970.

Benefits

02 | Dräger Aerotest® Navy

Tested breathing air

Using the Dräger Aerotest Navy, it is possible to determine the quality of the breathing air which is supplied by a compressor or a compressed gas cylinder (up to a maximum pressure of 300 bar). By means of the test system, the reliable testing of the breathing air is ensured according to the US navy standard.

Pollutant detection and measurement

The Dräger Aerotest Navy determines the quantity of various potential pollutants: It is possible to reliably determine carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydro steam and oil in the compressed air either individually or simultaneously. Specifically adjusted to the different fields of application of the navy, this test system also measures the oxygen amount of between 5% and 23% volume.

Fast and easy to use

The measuring device can be used independently of power supplies and, using conventional tools, can be connected with a G5/8, CGA 347 or .825 -14 NGO-RH-EXT connector to the high-pressure compressed air supply system to be monitored easily and without problems. After only a few minutes, the quick check delivers precise and reliable measurement results and informs about the degree of the contamination.

Always ready for use

All components of the Dräger Aerotest Navy are arranged in a compact, convenient case and ready for use.
