About this file
This special notice announces an industry day for the Yard, Repair, Berthing and Messing Barge (YRBM) program. The Navy intends to procure up to twenty-six non-self-propelled YRBM craft over fifteen years to accommodate berthing needs for up to 199 personnel and messing for 300 personnel. The first contract is anticipated as a small business set aside. The industry day will provide information on program schedule, contract requirements, and draft performance specifications. It will be held virtually on October 13, 2020 from 1300-1600 EDT using Microsoft Teams. Interested shipyards and potential industry sources should register by October 5th. The event aims to inform industry and gain feedback to assist the market research process for a potential YRBM solicitation. The agenda includes an overview of roles, mission, schedule, specifications, rules and standards, data rights, administration and oversight.
