About this file
This Draft Statement of Work (SOW) details Engineering Network Access Services for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). The contractor is required to provide high-speed internet services to two locations: the John L. McClellan (JLM) hospital and VA Ft. Roots building 3, utilizing existing Windstream hardware. Specific requirements include continuing Wi-Fi services, establishing fiber optic paths, providing (2) 1GB service lines to each location, configuring security routers with firewalls, and ensuring minimal system downtime. The contractor must implement Network Address Translation (NAT)/Port Address Translation (PAT), protect against cybersecurity threats like spyware and viruses, provide programmer access to equipment, and offer operational instructions. The document explicitly notes that C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
