STATEMENT OF WORK FOR BALANCER SERVICE

1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
1.1 Introduction
This SOW outlines the requirements to inspect for serviceability and calibrate two each GILMAN/GISHOLT BALANCE machines twice annually to bring the machines sensitivity within original equipment manufacturers specifications. Inspect all connections, pickups, motor, braking system and photocell sensitivity. These machines are used for dynamic balancing of J85-5 engine compressor and turbine rotor assemblies.
1.2 Scope
To performance service for FFP Semi-Annual Servicing requirement consisting of two-eight hour days with one technician. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform all semi-annual maintenance on two NSN J035-03-ENG-SERV dynamic balancers manufactured by Gilman Engineering & Manufacturing Co. (Now known as ThyssenKrupp Krause Inc.) Any parts required for repair will be purchased by us using our Government Purchase Card Program. The machines are located in Building 3810, 295 N. Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.
Requirements
Performance shall be in accordance with the Contractor’s commercial practice. Contractor shall provide a written Service Report and Certificate of Inspection and Calibration after completion of service for each machine serial number.
1.3 Program Management
The contractor shall notify the PCO, Scott Ronfeldt at 661-277-3904, in a timely manner concerning any issues that would adversely impact the contractor’s ability to meet and satisfy the performance and schedule requirements of this SOW.
