Naval Supply Systems Command Headquarters (NAVSUP HQ) Furniture Support Services Performance Work Statement (PWS)
1.0 Introduction
The Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Headquarters (HQ), Weapons Systems Support (WSS), and Business Systems Center (BSC) require furniture support services for their Mechanicsburg, PA location. NAVSUP intends to establish a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to procure furniture and the associated support services.
1.1 Background. There are three NAVSUP commands on Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg in Mechanicsburg, PA: NAVSUP Headquarters (HQ), NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support (WSS), and NAVSUP Business Systems Center (BSC). Each of these commands require furniture support services to more efficiently meet command goals. NAVFAC previously provided these services but is no longer able to support. As an interim solution, NAVSUP facilities team employees do individual credit card purchases for labor for specific requirements, but it would be more efficient to have a contract established for these services.
1.1 Scope. The objective of this effort is to obtain support for comprehensive furniture and furnishing support services (F&F) to meet NAVSUP needs in an on-time and accurate manner. This effort will be performed at the NSA Mechanicsburg site. The contractor must execute the following under this effort:
1) Furniture Project Management Support
2) Furniture Design and Reconfiguration Services
3) Providing general services for moving government property in-and-around NAVSUP spaces.
