About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the replacement of a Giant Voice system at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base. The contractor must remove the existing unreliable Giant Voice system and install a new system that is compatible with the Blackberry IP Integration Module AtHoc system used by the Command Post.
The key requirements include performing a site survey, removing and disposing of the old system, installing a new giant voice system with 2,133ft audio reach utilizing the existing pole, and installing two control units in separate buildings (Command Post building 1040 and Security Forces BDOC building 1035). The new system must be accessible for maintenance without ladders or lifts, include solar-powered battery backup, and allow for control unit mobility between buildings. The contractor must provide training for up to 10 people on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with documentation and guides. A 3-year warranty covering parts, customer service, software upgrades, and repair service is required. Work hours are 0800-1700 Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and all contractor personnel must comply with base security requirements. The contractor must also demonstrate capability to install new poles and giant voice systems for potential future requirements under separate contracts.
