About this file
This document is a Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for an Audit Management Information System for the Department of Labor (DOL). The PWS outlines the DOL's requirements for a cloud-based, interoperable, and modern audit management system that will improve the accuracy and timeliness of audit activity while providing insights into performance and vulnerabilities. The key requirements include communicating software patch and upgrade schedules, handling slow or latent connections, providing full logging of user activity, supporting FIPS 140-02 encryption, and ensuring Section 508 compliance. The system must also support the full audit management lifecycle, including preparing for audits, selecting audit criteria, measuring performance, making improvements, and sustaining improvements. The PWS also details requirements for infrastructure, security, system configuration, retention and archiving, training, support, distinct projects, document management, review processes, cross-indexing, independent referencing, and findings and recommendations.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Information (RFI) for the DOL Audit Management Information System, issued by the Department of Labor Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information about potential solutions to meet the requirements outlined in the attached Draft PWS. The RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote/Proposal or a commitment to award a contract.
