About this file

This document is a draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the upgrade and ongoing maintenance of an Ion Vapor Deposition (IVD) chamber at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) in San Diego, CA. The SOW details the technical requirements for upgrading the IVD system, including replacing the diffusion pump, chamber rack, water system, cryogenic coil, vacuum pump, and control system. The contractor will also provide a preventative maintenance service plan for two IVD chambers for four years. Key requirements include safety, environmental, and testing standards, as well as detailed technical documentation.

The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for the upgrade and maintenance of the IVD chamber, with a projected solicitation release in FY24 Q3. The procurement is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance of 18-22 weeks for the upgrade, plus 4 years of maintenance. All business sizes are encouraged to respond with a capabilities statement by May 10, 2024, demonstrating the ability to perform the SOW requirements.
