About this file

This is a Memorandum for Record from the Department of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force Sustainment Center (AFMC) at Tinker Air Force Base, dated 16 January 2026, documenting equipment procurement requirements for the 76th CMXG. The document specifies the acquisition of one high-pressure air compressor, identified as a Typhoon Series WP3100 - 24/7 Continuous Duty Compressor or similar equivalent. The compressor must be rated for continuous duty operation and deliver a minimum of 110 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute (SCFM) of free air supply at 750 to 1000 pounds per square inch (PSI) of pressure, with the capability to regulate at 750 PSI output pressure.

Technical specifications require the compressor to operate on 460 VAC, three-phase, 60 Hz electrical power and utilize water cooling compatible with the existing chilled water system. Physical constraints limit the equipment to dimensions not exceeding 60 inches wide by 108 inches long by 72 inches in height, with a maximum weight of 6,000 pounds to permit installation via crane without requiring relocation or disassembly of surrounding mechanical equipment. The controller must support Modbus TCP communications, and the contractor must provide a comprehensive list of Modbus registers with their respective functions. Additional contractor deliverables include providing a lifetime warranty, delivering and installing the compressor at the specified location on Tinker AFB (ZIP code 73145), supplying necessary electrical and piping connections to existing utilities, and providing startup, commissioning, and training services by a qualified technician in accordance with the referenced Statement of Work, Section 3.2.
