About this file

This draft solicitation and attachment outline the proposed delivery schedule for small and large force protection craft over five potential ordering periods. The attachment specifies notional and proposed delivery schedules for the government and contractor for individual boats and follow-on orders, both with and without a break in production. It defines a break in production as occurring if a delivery order is placed more than 120 days after delivering the last boat on the previous order. The schedules indicate first boat deliveries would be 330 days after order placement if a break in production, and 30 days after the last boat if no break. Subsequent boats would be delivered 60 days after the prior boat if a break, and 30 days after without a break. The draft pre-solicitation provides background on the anticipated formal RFP for this small and large force protection craft procurement managed by Naval Sea Systems Command. It encourages industry review and feedback of the draft documents.
