About this file

This is a Documented Quote solicitation issued by the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife for clothing items to be sold at 16 state parks across Colorado. The solicitation requests pricing for unisex, women's, and youth apparel including t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleece jackets and vests, and various styles of caps with embroidery or screenprint customization. Minimum order quantities vary by product type, ranging from 12 pieces for embroidered items to 72 pieces for cap/t-shirt combos. The bid was posted on February 6, 2015, with a written inquiry deadline of February 11, 2015, and bids due on February 17, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. MST. Award was expected by February 20, 2015. The contract term is 12 months with an optional 12-month renewal period for a total not to exceed 24 months. The awarded vendor must have a sales representative travel to each park location to consult on product selection and design, maintain a design library, provide reorder turnaround within 7 days and new order turnaround within 4 weeks, and offer flexible return and refund policies.

All pricing must include shipping and freight costs, which the State will not pay separately. Digital art approvals must be provided by the vendor prior to production, and all items must include pre-priced sales tags with UPC/SKU barcoding. If the State elects to renew for a second year, the vendor may request a rate adjustment not to exceed the lesser of the average Consumer Price Index for the West Urban Region or 5 percent, with only one adjustment permitted per 12-month period. Vendors must be registered on Colorado's Vendor SelfService (VSS) system by the bid closing date to be considered responsive. Bid responses must include a completed Vendor Information sheet and Bid Pricing Sheet in the specified Excel format. The solicitation indicates that additional park locations beyond the initial 16 may be added to the award if those locations choose to participate.
