Length of Award:

This solicitation covers ONLY CPW’s need for Braided Electrical Rope for the period ending June 30, 2015. However, CPW may elect to renew this agreement with the vendor awarded this bid for four additional one-year period. The option to renew will be at the sole discretion of Colorado Parks of Wildlife. The renewal option years expires in Fiscal Year

2019 or on June 30, 2019. The quantity specified herein is an estimated usage for the period

July 01, 2014 thru June 30, 2015; the Division, therefore, reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity as necessary during this period. However, the State does not guarantee that the quantities listed will be actual amounts purchased. Vendor shall keep prices firm from the date of the award thru June 30, 2015. Prices for each item on the award may increase after that date but such increase may not exceed the Consumer Price Index for All Urban

Consumers (CPI-U) for the Denver-Boulder-Greeley, Colo., Metropolitan areas. Each year, rate adjustments may be made based on the All Items of the All Urban Consumers (Current

Series) Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the West Urban Region as stated on the United States

Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI website (http://www.bls.gov/cpi/) when calculating rate adjustments.

Rate adjustments may be made based on an average of the most recently published 12-month percent change available at the time the State notifies the Vendor of their intent to renew, or a 5% adjustment, whichever is less. Only one such increase will be allowed per year during the one 12-month period. When figuring rate increases, rounding shall be handled as follows: any price increase that results in beyond two decimal places shall be rounded up to next whole cent if the third decimal place number is 5 or greater; if the third decimal place number is 4 or less the price rate will not be rounded up. An example is: current rate is

$26.25/sample and a 5% increase is allowed = $27.5625 would stay at $27.56/sample or a rate of $26.75/sample with a 5% increase is $28.0875/sample would round up to

$28.09/sample. Any price increase will be reviewed by the Department of Natural Resources, before renewing the agreement.
