About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for the North Carolina Department of Administration's Invitation for Bid (IFB) DPC-1366875677-BP for a Statewide Term Contract for Storage Batteries. The solicitation seeks vendors to provide storage batteries for various applications including automotive, marine, golf, and backup power on an "As Needed" basis for state departments, agencies, and higher education institutions. The pre-bid conference was held on April 17, 2025, with written questions accepted through April 25, 2025, and responses to be published by May 9, 2025. Bids are due on May 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET, with an estimated contract award date of May 30, 2025. The contract will have a five-year term.
The evaluation method will focus on responsive bids offering the lowest price that meets specified requirements, including verification of past performance, references, and financial documents. Vendors must complete multiple attachments, including pricing information, HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) supplemental vendor information, customer references, worker location details, financial condition certification, and sustainability documentation. The solicitation emphasizes comprehensive submission requirements, with a warning that failure to meet all specifications may result in a "NON-RESPONSIVE" bid classification. All required forms are available on the Department of Administration's Purchase & Contract website, and the procurement process aims to ensure thorough vendor qualification and competitive pricing for storage battery procurement.
