About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for Invitation to Bid DOT-ITB-25-2014-JB issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Two Procurement Office for the I10 Madison Eastbound Rest Area Roof project. The addendum specifically modifies the Experience section of Exhibit A - Scope of Services, requiring contractors to be licensed, insured, and have three (3) years of experience in commercial projects of similar scope and complexity prior to contract award. Contractors must also maintain applicable licensure, meet current Florida Building Code requirements, and obtain necessary permitting to perform contract requirements.
The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by completing and returning the document with their bid package by the bid opening date, with failure to do so potentially rendering the bidder non-responsive. The document includes standard legal language regarding protest procedures under Florida Statutes, specifically noting that failure to file a protest within prescribed timeframes or post required bonds will constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120 of Florida Statutes.
