About this file

This document is Addendum No. #1 to Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation DOS-RFP-24/25-004 issued by the Florida Department of State for a Florida Memory Elastic Search. The RFP seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive search solution for the Florida Memory digital collection, including indexing of content from a MySQL database and integrating with the existing Omeka Classic 2.7.1 and OpenCart 3.0.3.2 platforms. The RFP provides details on the existing data structure, with four key tables containing a total of over 7 million records. The RFP indicates a preference for a cloud-based hosting solution, with Azure being the current platform. Security requirements include standard password authentication and multi-factor authentication. The RFP amendment changes the number of required proposal copies from three to five and the number of required client references from three to five.

The RFP does not specify any pricing terms, setasides, or incumbent information. It indicates that the current Solr search solution is no longer functional, and the indexing schedule was previously weekly. Peak search volumes and analytics reporting are unknown. The RFP provides responses to 13 vendor questions related to the technical requirements and existing environment.
