About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Learning Management System (LMS) for Continuing Education issued by the Florida Department of State (DLIS). The RFP seeks a vendor to provide a turnkey LMS capable of hosting asynchronous training videos, webinars, and tutorials focused on topics related to library activities, work, and customer service. The vendor will be responsible for developing and producing the training content, which must be library-specific. The initial contract term is for three years, with options to renew. The deadline for proposal submission is August 11, 2022, and the anticipated contract start date is the date signed by both parties.
The RFP indicates a proposed budget not to exceed $50,000 for this project. DLIS currently utilizes a YouTube channel to archive webinar recordings but does not have a centralized LMS. The vendor will not need to integrate with any external systems or provide eCommerce or payment options, as there are no fees associated with the training offerings. DLIS will provide subject matter experts and existing content to support the vendor's development of the training modules, which are expected to be 60-90 minutes in length.
