About this file
This document is a comprehensive project specification file for the Orange County Corrections Department in Orange County, Florida, detailing a Corrections Security Package for Building F door replacement. The project involves modifying and replacing sliding detention doors, door hardware, and associated control systems for Building F, with an estimated project cost of $4,000,000. The sealed offers were to be submitted electronically via the OpenGov e-Procurement Platform by 4:00 pm EST on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The specifications cover detailed requirements for detention security hollow metal doors, door hardware, security fasteners, glazing, electrical work, and monitoring and control systems, with a focus on ensuring secure and functional door operations within the corrections facility.
The project specifications indicate a comprehensive approach to door replacement, including requirements for PLC-based monitoring systems, relay assemblies, touchscreen control interfaces, and specific technical specifications for components like doors, frames, hinges, locks, and electrical connections. The documentation provides extensive technical details on installation methods, material requirements, testing procedures, and integration with existing facility systems. While the exact funding source is not explicitly detailed, the project appears to be a capital improvement initiative for the Orange County Corrections facility, with a significant investment in upgrading security infrastructure and door control mechanisms.
