About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) DOH25-004 issued by the Florida Department of Health, specifically addressing the Miami-Dade County Health Department (CHD) Building Sign procurement. The addendum provides a questions and answers document responding to three vendor inquiries regarding the bid. The key points include clarification on bid submission through the VIP vendor portal (https://vendor.myfloridamarketplace.com/search/bids/detail/13045), confirmation of available specifications, and the department's stance on potential sign modifications. Specifically, for the third question about potentially increasing sign height, the department firmly stated they will not consider changes to sign measurements and that the sign must comply with Florida Building Code and ANSI standards.
The addendum reinforces the bid's technical requirements and submission protocols, emphasizing strict adherence to original specifications. While no specific pricing details are revealed in this document, it serves as an official communication to clarify vendor questions and ensure all potential bidders have consistent, accurate information about the building sign project. The document also includes a standard legal disclaimer about protest procedures and statutory requirements, highlighting the formal governmental procurement process.
