About this file
This document is an Addendum 1 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Health (DOH) for the provision of bio-medical waste pick-up and disposal services for their facilities in Broward County. The ITB seeks to establish a 3-year maintenance service contract, with details on the current vendor (Trilogy Medwaste) and current rates ($16.50 per 96-gallon container). The DOH was unable to provide weight reports for the annual waste serviced at each location, as requested in one of the questions. The addendum also includes information on the protest process and timeline.
The ITB does not provide any additional details on pricing terms, set-asides, funding requirements, or other salient information. It simply responds to questions received from prospective vendors and provides clarification on the current contract holder and rates.
