Objective
The objective of this project is to remove the existing metal roof at the Department of Natural Resources Shooting Range Warehouse and replace it with a 24-gauge metal roof meeting the specifications of the attached document (07610 Metal Roofing) in hunter green color over OSB decking. This project will also entail replacement of up to approximately 85 feet of pressure treated fascia boards on rear eave side of the building, and up to approximately 120 feet of pressure treated fascia boards on the gable ends of the building.
Fascia board will be replaced where it’s condition would interfere with the proper installation of roofing materials, aluminum fascia/soffit, or seamless gutter installation. This building is essential for storing and distributing supplies to the states staffed shooting ranges. Due to the age and condition of the existing roof, it is in the best interest of the state to replace the roof, ensuring the protection of its contents and the longevity of the building itself.
