About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for hardware maintenance and support services for four IBML ImageTrac IT6 6475 scanners. The DMV requires these services for a two-year term, with the contractor required to begin work within 10 business days of contract award. Quotes are due by October 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM. The DMV will issue an intent to award on October 22, 2024, and the contract will be awarded in December 2024.
The DMV will evaluate bids based on the lowest cost that meets all administrative requirements. The contractor must provide monthly preventative maintenance and as-needed remedial maintenance, with a two-hour response time for critical issues and three-hour response for non-critical issues. The contractor will not be reimbursed for travel or per diem expenses, as these must be included in the monthly maintenance fee. The DMV has waived the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirement, but the DVBE incentive is applicable. Small Business and Non-Small Business subcontractor preferences are also available.
