About this file

This document is a Contractor Questionnaire for a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) market survey seeking sources for a specific military transit case. The government is searching for manufacturers or suppliers of an Olive Drab Green Transit Case (NSN 5895-01-623-9736) that is equivalent to the Pelican Storm Case iM2750, with requirements including a 54-pound weight capacity, two wheels, end handles, and a retractable tote handle. The case must include custom foam cutouts to house specific components for the Combat Service Support Automated Information Systems Interface (CAISI) Wireless 2.0 system.

The market research is not a formal solicitation and does not guarantee contract award. Interested vendors must complete a detailed questionnaire addressing their company background, past performance, engineering capabilities, obsolescence management, and ability to meet government delivery requirements. Responses are due by 30 May 2025 and should be submitted via email to Kenneth M. Vereb (Technical Point of Contact) and Jacqueline Palmer (Alternate Contact). The government will use the gathered information to determine market availability, potential competitive set-asides, and develop an appropriate acquisition strategy, with a particular interest in small business participation.
